calling an overseas mobile from another overseas mobile in France

I have an Australia cell phone my friend has a UK cell phone both with global roaming.
We will be traveling in France together. How do I dial my friend while in France? what direct dial and country code should I use.

Hello,

You should use your friend’s regular UK number as called from Europe: 00 44 7xxx xxx xxx.
Your friend will also dial your Australian number: 00 61 4 xxxx xxxx.
