The number the hotel gave me is 004644225456 – I cannot figure out how to call from the US to this number. ??

Hi Sandy,

Europeans use the international exit code 00 to dial internationally and this is why they gave you this number starting with 00 (most people don’t know what this code means). To dial the number from the US just replace 00 with 011 which is the code used to call other countries from the US and Canada.
