    Hi Eni,

What message are you getting if any? The sequence entered is correct so if the cell phone you are calling is turned on and in a coverage area it should ring. A common reason why an international call doesn’t go through is the line used to call. Sometimes a line is blocked for placing international calls. In fact many phone service providers block international calls as a default feature. If possible try using another line/service to call or contact your service provider to inquire about this. One other thing you can do is to try dialing another international phone number just to see if it rings (our website provides phone books for all countries).

I hope this helps. For further communication please reply to this post.

Thank you for your reply.Actually it was for my friend from Mexico, and the number I gave was mine.I can call him from Romania, but he cannot call me from Mexico. And when I call him, his cell says number withheld, although I select send number. He said it says “the number called does not exist” when he tries calling my number. And also, the number I call him on his cell has 15 digits:005214921XXX XXX.And the one he calls, as mentioned previously 0040747 XXX XXX has only 13…I don’t know if that is relevant or not.I hope I can solve this, and thank you again for your help.I appreciate it.

The fact that you are dialing 15 digits and your friend only 13 is not relevant since every country’s telephone numbering system is different. So basically you are saying that you can’t call your friend either. I don’t understand what you mean by “I select send number”. What service are you using to dial out? Have you/your friend tried using another line to dial? If you want I can try dialing the number in Mexico to see if it rings. It’s all I can do since all the digits you’ve been dialing look right to me. So if you want to do this send me a private message with the number using the contact form link at the top right.
