how to make a call to a toll -free # in the UAE

Hello!

Does anyone know how to place a call to a toll-free # in the UAE (in Dubai)from the United States.

The toll-free # is posted as: 800 5111, so I’m assuming calling from the U.S. you would dial 011+ 971 + 800 +5111, but I wasn’t sure if I also needed to place a “4” (Dubai’s area code) in front of the “800”.

Hi Richard,
You don’t need to add 4 for Dubai (just like you don’t add an area code to a US toll free number). However, toll free numbers can generaly be dialed from within the country where they are registered so it is likely that the call won’t go through.
