Mexico to Poland from Polish cell phone

Hi,
How would you call from Mexico to Poland from a Polish cell phone (Polish SIM card).
I am in Mexico with a Polish cell phone and I’m trying to call back to Poland.
00 Mexico exit code
48 Polish country code

00 + 48 + Polish number = doesn’t work

Sending text messages works but calling doesn’t.
I’m starting to think that Roaming is turned OFF,
but then text messages would also not get through.

Hi Matt,

You’re not dialing the starting zero used in front of the cell phone number within Poland I hope? Incorrect: 00 48 0… Correct: 00 48 … (no zero after 48).

Try using the + (plus) sign instead of 00 like this: +48 …On many phones this can be achieved by pressing * twice.
