problems in calling south africa

Twenty minutes ago or so, I called a friend in Cape Town, South Africa. I have done this plenty of times before. There was no problem. Yet when I called back five minutes ago, the line was, and remains, dead … i.e. there is no ring tone, no busy signal, nothing. I used the standard system … 011 27 21 and then the seven digit number.

Have you been able to call the same phone number before? If so try dialing again using a different phone line and if it still doesn’t work there is likely an issue on their end.
