how do I know if the phone number I am trying to call is an actual phone number?

Hello,

Why would you assume it isn’t? I guess the best way to know is to simply call the number and see if it goes through. Also, if it is an international number you can check out the number of digits and area codes comprising a specific country’s phone numbers, landline vs cell phone and so on.
