    Hi guys,

We would like to know what type of number this is 011 44845609**** Apparently 7 is for cell phones… but nowhere do we find 8 as a city code or prefix for cell phones.
    Thanks!

    Hello,

All UK telephone numbers starting with digit 8 (eight) are special services (toll free, value added, etc). The 845 prefix is a non geographical local rate special service phone number range generally used by larger firms to be able to advertise a single phone number nationally. Calls to 845 numbers made from the UK are usually charged a local rate. Depending on the number called these special service numbers often can not be dialed from abroad.
