US cell phone to US (cell and lan line)

Will be in Ireland on vacation using US cell phone. If I want to call the US how do you do that. If I want to call an Ireland number while in Ireland from a US cell phone how do you do that?

Hello Donna,
While in Ireland your phone becomes and Irish cell. This means that you will use the dialing sequence locals use for calling either Irish or international numbers. To be more specific:
-calls to the US: 00 1 ??? ??? ????
-calls within Ireland: dial what locals do; for example, calls to an Irish mobile phone have this dialing format: 08? ??? ????.
