    Hello Essam,
What have you been trying to register for? I don’t understand your question.

    Hi Barbara,
It seems that the number you have is incorrect (likely incomplete). When dialing it I am getting an “invalid number” message. Many phone numbers in the 010 area code comprise 10 digits, area code included. So my guess is that you have an incomplete number since you only have 9 digits. Just a guess.

What I can do is dial the number myself to see if it starts to ring; this way we’ll know whether there is a problem with your line or the number you have been trying to call has an issue.

If you want to do this just reply to this post with the full number (I will not publish it).

    Hello,

    Thanks for your post.
I am not aware of any recent changes in Italy’s telephone numbering plan. Could you provide me with more specific details? What dialing sequence have you been using with no success? What happens when you dial?

I noticed you are from Puerto Rico. Here’s our page on dialing from your location to Italy:

    Hi Don,

Sorry you had to post several times – all posts are subject to our prior approval.

To answer your question: when you travel internationally with your cell phone, provided you have an active roaming plan (you should talk to your wireless provider about this in case you haven’t already), people at home do not change the way they call you. So your wife will still dial your regular UK cell number beginning with 07. For you to call back to the UK you will need to use the instructions shown at the web address below:

    Hello,

Just have them dial the 10 digit Indian mobile number preceded by zero. Example: 0xx xxxx xxxx. Or I suppose dialing the full international number should also work: +91 xx xxxx xxxx (without the initial zero this time).

    Hi Thomas.
    Thank you for your question.
No country in the European Union charges the called party for receiving calls on mobile, Malta included. So you (the caller) will be the only one paying for the call. This rule applies to most countries. The big exception is the US where airtime is used for placing and receiving calls as well.

    Hello,

    Two observations/corrections:
You should leave out the zero in the area code (this is a trunk code used for calls dialed within Argentina).
You should have 7 digits after 249 (according to your message above you only have 6).

To conclude, the correct dialing sequence would be: 011 54 9 249 xxx xxxx.

    Hi John.
While in the USA you need to dial as if calling from the US back to the UK (which is what you will do). So dial 011 44 7xxx xxx xxx. You can use the link below for more info:
    https://www.howtocallabroad.com/uk/

The call will then be redirected by the UK carrier back to the US or wherever the other party is located.

    Hello,

To call each other while in the USA you need to dial to Australia (as if the called party were still in Australia) and the Australian wireless provider will then redirect the call back to the US. So you will need to dial the following: 011 61 4 xxxx xxxx.

The same dialing sequence is to be used by other US people trying to reach your AU phone numbers.

So I just dialed this number (about 5 pm their local time) and it was ringing. I hung up before they answered, but the call seemed to go through just fine. Try using a different line to place the call.

All I can do is double check for you (dial the Papua number myself to see if I too experience the same issues). If you want to do this send me the complete number using the Feedback link at the bottom.

    Hello,

These are cell phone numbers from Belgium and the United Kingdom respectively. To call them from Sri Lanka you can dial them as they are (literally entering the initial plus sign) or you can use 00 instead of the initial plus sign.

    Hello,
Without more details I can not help you. What is the complete sequence you have been dialing? Do you have the number of digits displayed at the web address below:
    https://www.howtocallabroad.com/results.php?callfrom=saudi_arabia&callto=papua_new_guinea

What happens when you call (do you hear a voice message or anything like that)?

    Hi Tom,
If it’s a US registered cell phone located abroad you do not need to add any extra international codes to dial it from the US – just use the US number you dial when this person you’re trying to call is at home in the United States.

    Hello,

It is virtually impossible to establish what country this number is registered in. I’m sorry, but you need a country name. This could be a complete telephone number to which you should add the country code. Again, for this you need a country name.

    Hello,
    Thank you for your inquiry.
The first time you dialed the correct sequence. And the number you have does look like a Thai mobile phone. I don’t know why you are getting that message. Try using a different line to place the call – if you get the same message then you’ll know there’s an issue with your friend’s number.

Hello and thank you for using our website.
These do look like Australian landlines. The only thing I can do is to try and dial one or more of these numbers myself. If I get the same message then there’s an issue with your numbers. If not there’s a problem with your phone line. If you want to do this just send me the number(s) using the Feedback link at the bottom.

And one other thing: are you 100% certain that these are mobile numbers?

    Hello,

When a US resident travels abroad with their cell phone (provided they have an active international plan) you don’t actually need to add any international calling codes to reach them. Just dial the US number and the wireless provider will redirect the call to wherever they are in the world.
