    Hello,
    Thanks for your inquiry.
They would basically place calls as if calling from the US to Australia which is what happens in this case. Calls of this type are routed back to the country where the phone is registered and then redirected to the actual location of the phone.

So, they would dial the following: 011 61 4 xxxx xxxx (the last 9 digits is the AU cell number). Visit the link below for additional info:

    Hello,

    Apologies for the late reply.
In case you haven’t figured it out – in order to dial this number from outside Kazakhstan you should leave out the initial 8 which is a so called trunk code used for national dialing only (just like in the UK an initial zero is used). So dial: 00 7 701 and so on.

When using our website try paying attention to all the details. We provide a “dialing format” for calls to cellular numbers in most countries that includes initial digit(s) and number of digits.

More on dialing to Kazakhstan from the UK

    Hello,
I could try texting you to see if you receive my message. I am not in the US. If you want to do this let me know what your number is (either by replying to this post or by using the Feedback link at the bottom).

    Hello,

Texting and calling use the same dialing sequence. To text/call Australia you would either use 01161 followed by the AU cell number (9 digits, initial digit is 4) or +61 instead of 01161. More info below:

    Hello,

Dialing without 011 is the correct sequence. Have you tried using a different line to place this call? The “restricted code” message could mean that your phone company is blocking this destination or a certain type of telephone numbers belonging to this destination. Is this a number you have called before, is it a person or a business?

    Hello,

The USA, Canada and some smaller nations use country code 1. If you are in Scotland and you want to dial a number which starts with +1, you either dial +1 literally or you also have the option to replace the initial plus sign with double zero: 001 and so on. You should have 10 digits after 001 or +1.

    Hello,

There’s no need to add any extra codes when people call you from Canada – just have them dial your regular Canadian number. Your wireless carrier will take care of the rest (redirect the call to wherever you are) provided you have an active roaming plan.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your question.

It sure isn’t complicated to send a text message internationally.
Guatemala uses 8 digit cell phone numbers starting with either 3, 4 or 5. To the 8 digit number you would add either 00502 or +502 when calling or texting from Costa Rica. 00 is the code used to call or text internationally from your country and 502 is Guatemala’s country code. The plus sign replaces the 00 exit code, but both should work fine.

    Hello,

It could be a phone number from South Sudan which uses country code 211, but I’m not 100% certain. Try calling it back to see if it works.

    Hello,

Malaysian cell phone numbers comprise 9 or 10 digits, the initial digit is 1. When dialing within Malaysia you can also use just the cell number (without +60) prepended by zero: 01 and so on. More info at the URL below:

    Hello,

I’m not sure how I can help you since I don’t speak Spanish either. I think you should try to call again – your friend might answer this time. The number looks right, it is a Spanish cell phone number.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your inquiry.
You use +1 or 001 plus the 10 digit US number to call or text your US friend regardless of where she is located (US or Greece). The call is routed through the US and then back to where she is traveling.

    Hi Nancy,

China’s country code is 86 and cell phone numbers have 11 digits with 1 (one) being the initial digit. You have 13 digits after 86 and 1 isn’t the leading digit. This definitely isn’t a Chinese cell phone number. I can’t figure out what it is – are you sure it is supposed to be a Chinese number? I’m thinking the 866 in the beginning looks like a US toll free number. Maybe this isn’t just a phone number, but a phone number plus an extension.

I don’t know how much it will cost her exactly – this depends on what plan she has/wireless provider and so on. It is true however that international roaming can be quite expensive. The cheaper way to communicate with someone traveling abroad is via Skype or other VoIP application installed on their phone (for this to work they would need access to a wifi Internet connection).
